STREAT is a new social enterprise providing homelessness and disadvantaged youth aged 16-25 with a supported six-month training and employment program in the hospitality industry. We are launching our first street hawker style outdoor café at Federation Square in March 2010, and are now looking for suitable youth for this program.

The full-time six-month training and employment program will be run every three months and will offer each small group of 8-12 participants the following:

• Certificate II in Hospitality – delivered in partnership with William Angliss Institute
• Paid work in the hospitality industry – work experience and paid employment during the six month training program. Not just paid employment, but
a great way to kick-start a CV with real experience. STREAT will also work with participants to transition them into industry jobs.
• Social support program –ongoing support including individualised, wrap around case management, structured individual and group support, social
and recreational activities, a creative program.
• Professional skills program
