The engagement plan implemented for the WIRED Community@Collingwood project is coming to a close and with it the close of the first year of active engagement, it is high time to reevaluate the processes followed in the engagement plan so that procedures may be fine tuned, redefined or changed to suit the changing needs, aspirations and desires of the community it wishes to affect.

Resident Futures Forum – Proposed Governance Structure

A series of forums and workshops attended by public housing residents across the three high rise housing estates in Yarra were held from March to October 2009.  
 
One of the key matters requiring a decision arising from the forums and workshops was the type of governance structure that will deliver the best outcomes for the communities into the future.
 

People First Governance Framework

The People First strategy sets the direction for ICT in NSW by ensuring a consistent coordinated approach to government ICT that aligns ICT planning, delivery and expenditure with government priorities. 
 
People First was developed by the CIO Information Officer Executive Council working as a partnership – thinking, deciding and  operating as a single voice representing NSW government agencies. This collaboration is critical to the successful delivery of People First.
