Have you ever received a bad report?

A couple of mistakes you wanted to keep to yourself? Something you wouldn’t want your parents to see? What else do you hide from people? AND if the given the opportunity, what would it take for you to risk everything and show the world?

BAD REPORT is a new program being introduced at the Reach Foundation that will have 25 teenagers putting it all on the line in a gutsy display of what it is to be young.

STREAT is a new social enterprise providing homelessness and disadvantaged youth aged 16-25 with a supported six-month training and employment program in the hospitality industry. We are launching our first street hawker style outdoor café at Federation Square in March 2010, and are now looking for suitable youth for this program.

The full-time six-month training and employment program will be run every three months and will offer each small group of 8-12 participants the following:

The Social Studio is now offering a Certificate III in Fashion Design and Certificate
III in Clothing Production for young people from the refugee community.

Remixed Design
You can become a fashion designer with the Remixed Design label. As a designer,
you receive 40% of the sale price of garments you make and sell in the Studio.

Melbourne Citymission's Print Side Up is once again offering young people aged 16-25 a two-day a week program over 10 weeks beginning July 27 (Mondays & Fridays).

North Yarra Community Health first opened Youth Space on the Collingwood housing estate in May 2003.  This drop-in facility for young people aged 11 – 18 years, living in Collingwood public housing, has gone from strength to strength with increased numbers of young people attending and participating in activities, and, since 2005, an additional half-time youth worker provided by the City of Yarra Youth Services.
