Collingwood Housing Estate residents are invited to take part in free computer training sessions in March and April! Learn basic computer skills such as how to send emails and use the internet, and how to use programs like Microsoft Word to create letters and documents.
Training Schedule
Intermediate Computer Skills: This course builds on the basic introduction course and gives learners some further skills in customising their Windows desktop and preferences, working with Windows, accessing programs and managing files. Download attached document for further information.
Intermediate Internet Skills: This course revisits basic browsing and searching the web, and gives learners some further experience in accessing common job search and government sites, as well as setting up a basic Facebook account. Download attached document for further information.
Basic Computer Skills: Learn to use the internet, Collingwood intranet and email.
Intermediate Computer Training: After you've completed the basic computer skills course, build on your knowledge and learn further.
Microsoft Word Beginner: Learn to create documents and letters, check spelling, change the size and style of writing, and create tables.
Learn About The Intranet: Find out how to add your news and events to this website.
Play With Powerpoint: Learn how to create slideshows and presentations.
Training will take place at the Wired Community@Collingwood office, in 253 Hoddle Street (next to the gym)
