Content Management

The goal of the Collingwood  Intranet is to ensure an open and accessible content system dedicated to the provision of quality information. The content management system of the site is based on the editorial judgment of selected individuals and organisations that demonstrate extensive knowledge of the subject, objectivity and openness. Editors are responsive to direction from advisors and other experts.

The site uses a 'deferred publishing' approach, so that content suggested by users is reviewed prior to acceptance on the site. Selection of resources, issues, discussion topics, news and technical data for the site is carefully analysed and based on fact and the needs of the audience. This challenge of combining Internet technologies with sound human judgment, in a manner that is both open and professionally sound, is at the core of the editorial and content management policy.

Infoxchange Australia aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Items submitted to the intranet may be reviewed and edited to accommodate the guidelines.

Editorial Policy

Content submitted to the intranet by users is subject to prior review by editors, who determine its suitability. Editors may reject any content offered to the site if, in the editor's opinion, it advocates violence, contains profanity, is inflammatory in nature, is not relevant to the subject of that section of the site, or is otherwise inappropriate. The policy does not seek to filter out but rather to include the best.

The views expressed in content appearing on the Collingwood Intranet are entirely those of the originators, and should not be attributed in any manner to Infoxchange Australia.

In this capacity Infoxchange reserves the right to edit or remove contributions that do not adhere to the guidelines set out below.

Infoxchange makes every effort to contact contributors to notify them when a decision is made to edit or remove any submissions.

Infoxchange asks all contributors to please adhere to the following guidelines

1.Ensure all submissions are polite and respectful. Constructive commentary is welcome but personal criticism is not,

2.Do not include personal or private information that may serve to identify anyone unless you obtain the person's consent beforehand,

3.Do not contribute material that is political, religious or reasonably likely to offend,

4.Do not submit material that is purely for commercial advertising purposes.
